Paneer Tikka is , surprisingly, a very easy to make recipe and it also tastes very good. You don’t need to put very much effort into making it. You need only a few simple ingredients and it’s ready before you know it. Kids love it! It can be made in the oven, on the stove top or in a Tandoor. It tastes great any way! The traditional Paneer Tikka is made on a grill and it is a little smoky and black. It depends on how you like it. We have to say that it tastes especially yummy with the green chutney.
This is a recipe that will catch everyone’s attention and will turn you into a star chef at every party!
1 Large block of Paneer
1 onion 1 Capsicum
1 Tomato Few Mushrooms
Finely chopped Coriander leaves
1/2 cup Curd (plain yogurt)
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger Paste
2 tsp Tandoori powder
1 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
2 tsp Chaat powder
Salt to taste
Red chili Powder to taste
How to make your very own Indian Paneer Tikka:
You start by cutting the large block of Paneer into long 1/2″ thick cubes. Also chop all vegetables into small cubes.
Separately you mix all ingredients for marinade and you keep it aside.
Next you brush the marinade to the paneer and you put it into the refrigerator for 3 hours. Pour the left marinade to the vegetables.
Pour oil in a frying pan, heat it and add the paneer. Fry it until it has that beautiful golden color. Separately you fry the vegetables.
When ready arrange on a plate your fried vegetables and the tasty paneer. You can garnish this Indian Paneer TIkka with coriander and lemon slices.
Serve it hot with green chutney. It is absolutely delicious!
