Vegetable Pulao is a very tasty recipe that is also very easy to prepare. It’s a very delicious snack that can be combined, depending on your preferences, with a sauce, with meat or even with vegetables. Your guests will be impressed each time.

Ingredients:

2 cups Basmati Rice

1 carrot

10 Cashewnut optional

10 Cilantro/Coriander leaves

3 curd

¼ Fresh ginger

Garam Masala (Cloves, Cinnamon, Bay leaves, Elaichi)

1 tsp Garlic paste

4 Green Chillies

½ Green Peas

1 potato

1 onion

salt

Pulao is a very delicious recipe based on steamed rice mostly cooked with meat, sea food or vegetables. It takes little time to prepare it and only basic cooking skills. It is ideal for those moments when you don’t have enough time to cook complicated food.

Start by adding the oil into the frying pan until it heats up. Now you can add the Garam Masala, the garlic paste and the finely cut onion. Let them fry until the onion turns gold color. Also add the chopped green chilies, the mint leaves, and the finely chopped cilantro. Mix well. Add the finely cut potato and carrot, with the green peas. Pour the curd and continue to mix everything together.

Wash and soak the basmati rice very well. After this place it in a separate pan and let it cook in steam for about 20 minutes. Add the cooked vegetable masala over the steamed rice and mix well. Let everything cook in steam until the rice is soft and golden color.  When our Veg Pulao is almost ready we add salt and black pepper.

Serve it hot! For a more intense taste you can choose to garnish it with roasted cashew nuts. The result will be an amazing mix of flavors.
